MY DESIGN IS COMPLETE…BUT NOT WITHOUT HICCUPS

The Designer I chose on Fiverr.com initially came up with a great design idea, but oh.my.gosh. I submitted images, font styles, virtually everything she needed to just lay out the design and she kept coming back with something totally different than what I asked for. Ugh. After 3 days of messaging back & forth, I finally told her to just finalize the order. It wasn’t perfect but it was close enough (finally) to what I wanted. Larry & I just got home from the hospital and I needed to focus on him so I just wanted this done. I had...

WORKING FROM THE HOSPITAL

Now that I know the Graphic Designer is not able to help me with my project, it’s time to find another one who can create a design for my truck. The first guy was very helpful in recoloring the image I wanted to use but I still need a design for the graphic he created. I understand people are busy, but I also have a timeline that I am trying to manage and I keep setting dates of when I want to be open and because I have to wait on this person or that person, my timeline keeps passing by, month after...

AND THE WEEKS PASS BY...AGAIN

So between the weather and the Fabricators work schedule, it’s been 3 weeks since he was out here to fix the awning and we are still waiting for him to install the handrails, hydraulic supports for the awning and the winch (so this thing is can even be driven). So much for being open in March. :(

WHERE THE WIND BLOWS

Last week we had a heck of a wind storm that damaged the awning on our truck so the fabricator came out yesterday to rebuild a new awning out of metal instead of wood this time. He got the awning done, but the hydraulic supports to help support the weight were not large enough so he has to come back out again to finish installing those. He is also going to fix the hand rails to make them a bit sturdier and when he comes back out to install those, he will also install a winch to help with the...
